Marks's Rock Family Tree.

Never Before Midnight 1986 to 1990.
Formed by Rob & Graham at Kingston College, later joined by Mark Gibson on vacals. Played a mix of covers and original material strongly influenced by Depeche Mode. First gig was at the Dukes Head, Hampton in Feb 89 where they went on to become regular performers. First paid gig was at Dave Harris’ 21st birthday party. Their final appearance was at Shepperton Village Hall, a long standing ambition achieved! The band reformed in May 94 to take part in a talent contest at The Galleon in Chertsey where they came 5th in the final. Never go back!!

Trés Bizzare 1992 to 1995.
After Graham left ‘NBM’, Rob and Mark recruited Matt ‘ Guitar’ Clawson (an old school friend) and formed ‘Trés Bizzare’ in late 1992. Though mainly a studio based band who focused on writing original material, they played a few small gigs, notably at The Telegraph Pub in Putney. The band split when Matt went on to bigger and better things.

The Klangers 1995 to 1996.
‘The Klangers’ played classic 70’s Rock in smoke filled rehearsal rooms. Unfortunately 6 months of enjoyable rehearsing led to only 2 gigs before the band where forced to split due to the bass player moving to Cornwall!! Mark was then headhunted by Jon Novice to join his Music Workshop, or ‘Moist Gussett’ as it was to become known.

Moist Gusset Jan 1996 to Jan 2000.
The original ‘official’ works band set up by Jon Novice with the aid of a hefty grant from the FGSSA. Played a small number of rehearsals above the old canteen but never really got going due to a combination of not enough talent and attempting to play too many difficult songs. Spent more time arguing over the band name than actually playing anything! Fizzled out as band leader Jon ran out of time and energy when he started producing babies (with the aid of his wife, of course!)
